We discussed this awhile ago and the one I like to use is the Liberty SJ-10 made by Liberty Pumps. The main difference between these systems is the battery backup uses a battery to power it where as the SJ-10 uses water pressure. They are both great systems and both reasonably priced. However, if at all possible I recommend the SJ-10 over the Model 400. Reason being is this. Batteries can go bad and can go dead, I have been on many service calls where power has been out for 10-12 hours and the battery dies and someones basement floods and they wonder why.. Well the system did what it was supposed to and kept you safe for 10-12 hours, unfortunately the battery just simply ran out of juice.

This problem can be avoided with the SJ-10. Water Pressure is always constant in your home, so as long as you pay your water bill you will be great for hours and hours. This pump works great and is very easy to install. Call me today with questions on either system!
